ERODE INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE (EICT PC) is a leading educational institution in South India for offering high quality technical education to the poor and down-trodden students from various parts of the country. The college is run by M/S Narayanaswamy Educational Trust, which is a charitable trust founded by Lion.N.Ramanathan Chettiyar who was an industrialist cum philanthropist. EICT PC has been established in the academic year 1983-1984 by Lion.R.Puvaragavan with Two Diploma courses in Chemical branches. Later EICT PC added Seven branches such as Mechanical Engg, Automobile Engg, Electrical and Electronics Engg, Electronics Engg, Computer Engg, Textile Technology and Apparel Technology( Fashion Designing).
